Ooty Flower Show 2017 commences from May 19, 2017

Much expected dates for the world popular Flower Show at Ooty Botanical garden for 2017 are finally announced. A 3 day annual flower show in Ooty is world famous and numerous tourists flock in these days every year. This is 121st flower show in Ooty. Thousands of various types are planned to display in the mega event which attracts lakhs of tourists across the country every year.

This is 121st flower show in Ooty. Thousands of various types are planned to display in the mega event which attracts lakhs of tourists across the country every year.

Sim’s Park in Coonoor is ready for the 59th annual fruit show which will be starting from May 27th and ends by 28th 2017.

The annual vegetable show will be on 6th and 7th May and the two days of Rose show at Government Rose Garden will be commencing on 13th May 2017.

We conduct Bird Watching in Kotagiri by a veteran Bird watching guide with more than 35 years of experience in the study of birds. His articles are everywhere in the print media under Birds in Nilgiris.

You will at least one whole day to experience it. So plan accordingly.

Trekking:

You can experience an amazing walk in Ooty all through beautiful grasslands and stunning view points! We bet you can’t see these type of landscapes other than Ooty in India! You can spend a day by doing a trekking which requires medium fitness level from children to 60 years without any hassle! This 4 to 6 hours of trekking is guided by a tribal guide who worked on various research projects on his place with full access to the area. He is well comfortable with English, Tamil and Hindi. The cost will be around Rs.700 per head and 4 to 8 members is a recommended group members to have maximum fun.
